Liquid Shakti Ecstatic Dance gatherings in Joshua Tree/Yucca Valley for a transformative experience at the Yucca Valley Visual and Performing Arts Center. Travis Winn is a local DJ, producer, performer and organizer who sometimes DJs with his name or as Electroliquid. He brings his musical repertoire to the dancers on these somatic voyages while connecting with his family here in the desert. A well thought out musical journey is crafted for each time with a heart centered approach to movement, connection and healing.

Movement for Release

Experience vibrant expression through ecstatic dance, connecting with others in a beautiful space, clear out the stagnation of the week and through healing movement connect with who you are. So many of us feel stuck in our energy and patterns, ecstatic dance gives a free form connection without judgement to ourselves and what we are feeling in our bodies. Sunday mornings are the best time for these cleansing motion experiences.

Community and Connection

Celebrate life and creativity while building community bonds through shared movement and joyful energy. When I got started in the ecstatic dance in Los Angeles in the 2000s, I found some of my best friends on the dance floor. Our sacred spaces are alcohol and drug free events. While on the dance floor there should not be vocal talking, outside of the space before and after is a good time to connect with people in the room you resonate with.

Gallery

Experiencing joy through dance in Joshua Tree's magical setting. This wide open studio is the perfect place to move your body and reconnect with your soul letting your thoughts dissolve into the present. The top photo in B&W shows the actual dance studio.
